About the role

Strategy and creativity, driven by data.

Radikal is looking for an Email Marketer (Retention Strategist) who can plan, execute, and optimize email programs that drive client growth and retention. You own both the strategy and the day-to-day execution of campaigns and flows.

You balance analytical thinking with creative execution, using data to guide messaging, timing, and segmentation. You keep programs aligned with brand voice and the customer journey, and you turn results into clear recommendations.

What you'll do

Strategy, testing, and results.

  • Build, manage, and optimize email marketing strategies, including flows, campaigns, segmentation, and testing plans.
  • Translate client goals and growth objectives into clear lifecycle and retention strategies.
  • Keep email programs aligned with brand voice, timing, and each stage of the customer journey.
  • Monitor performance across revenue, engagement, deliverability, and conversion, and apply what you learn to improve results.
  • Run tests across subject lines, content, timing, and segmentation, leaning on AI tools for ideation, analysis, and reporting without losing strategic judgment.
  • Collaborate with project managers to align email work with timelines, scope, and priorities.
  • Communicate performance insights and recommendations clearly to clients, and document decisions for the team.
  • Run Radikal's own email and lifecycle programs and share retention know-how internally through knowledge sessions and Radikal Talks.
What we're looking for

Data-driven, client-ready.

Experience

2 to 4+ years in email marketing or lifecycle and retention marketing, ideally in an agency.

Retention strategy

Strong understanding of e-commerce retention strategy and customer lifecycle marketing.

Platform skills

Hands-on experience with email platforms such as Klaviyo.

Analytical mindset

Comfortable translating data into actionable insights and clear recommendations.

Communication

Strong communication and organizational skills with a client-facing mindset.

Juggling accounts

Able to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Language

Fluency in Dutch (C2) and English (B2 minimum).

Location

Able to work from our office in Antwerp a few days a week.

Extra credits

Klaviyo & ESP depth

Certifications or deep experience with Klaviyo, and familiarity with other ESPs.

Copy that converts

A feel for writing subject lines and email copy that earn opens and clicks.

Design & HTML

Comfort with email design and basic HTML/CSS for building on-brand templates.

Shopify data

Familiarity with Shopify and how store data feeds segmentation and flows.

Deliverability

Know-how around deliverability, list health, and sender reputation.

Karaoke

A strong karaoke skillset.
