owned brand existing over half a century of existence, Marie Méro's

designs have even caught the attention of our own royal family. Their unique omnichannel strategy includes multibrand stores, physical stores, department stores and an e-commerce platform. It reflects their commitment to steady and sustainable growth.

Just before the rise of the COVID 19 pandemic, they revamped their webshop, seeking to infuse it with a touch of personalization. At this moment, we advised them to make the transition to Shopify Plus, a platform that would provide the scalability required for long-term growth.

Main challenges

Transitioning from a custom-built platform to Shopify Plus

Marie Méro had been operating on a custom-built platform that needed to be refreshed. After a comprehensive assessment, it became evident that Shopify Plus was the ideal solution for their evolving needs. This choice wasn't merely due to the platform's flexibility in terms of customization and page creation, but also because it would adapt alongside the fashion brand. Adding personalization

One of the brand's primary challenges with its previous platform was the difficult process of introducing new content blocks. Shopify Plus emerged as the perfect partner to tackle this obstacle. Thanks to this platform, you have the freedom to effortlessly integrate new content blocks, product pages, collections, and promotions according to your preferences.

Pro Tip: By the end of 2023, Shopify Plus plans to launch a groundbreaking feature called "flex sections." This feature allows you to intuitively drag and drop, resize, group, and edit content, tailored precisely to your individual needs. It's certainly worth trying, and you can sign up to be among the first to test this innovative feature.

Find my fit

On their previous webshop, Marie Méro introduced the "Find My Fit" feature a special tool that recommends product items or collections based on individual preferences. The concept is straightforward: users complete a style and body type quiz, and the tool automatically generates a personalized selection of clothing.

We retained the core functionality of the "Find My Fit" feature while enhancing its integration. It evolved from a pop-up to a dedicated page, a change that not only improved SEO but also enhanced the overall user experience. Shoppers can now easily complete the fit quiz without requiring a user profile, thanks to advanced cookie management.

For us, the guidelines were clear-cut, as we didn't need to modify the design of the Find my fit tool, which was originally created by Contour Lab. Our task involved transferring all the data and creating SKU's based on product variants, color, sizing, and more. While this meant handling a substantial volume of looks and images, we were fortunate that the Shopify Plus platform could seamlessly process these higher volumes.

Radikal combine app

Marie Méro launches extensive collections with products available in various colors. In Shopify Plus, aligning the right colors with the correct product items can be a challenge. To address this issue, our team developed a specialized application that streamlines the connection of information to products. We're delighted to report that this app has proven highly successful, as we've deployed it effectively for multiple clients.

Asana for project management

We implemented a task attribution system using Asana boards, enabling efficient tracking and coordination of individual tasks within the Radikal team. This approach ensured everyone remained aligned and tasks were executed promptly.
