What we build
One platform for how your trade customers actually buy. We start from native Shopify B2B and add apps or custom work only where your process needs it.
One login, their own shop
The right price, every order
Pay the way you invoice today
Reorders in minutes, not phone calls
Selling instead of typing
Self-service for your customers
SparkLayer Partner of the Year 2025 · live at Gigue, Qoozii, Andy Roasters and Zilton
SparkLayer adds a B2B layer on top of your existing Shopify store, with no second store to manage. Approved trade customers log in and see their own prices, assortment, payment terms and stock location, while consumers notice nothing. It is our go-to when you want to add a wholesale channel fast, or need more than native Shopify B2B offers.
Connected to your ERP
Your ERP stays the source of truth. Products, prices, customers and stock come from it. Orders go back into it, without anyone re-typing them. We work with your ERP partner, not around them.
Microsoft's standard Shopify connector as the backbone, configured and extended where your process needs it.
Orders, customers, stock and VAT in sync between Shopify and Exact, through a proven connector.
Through middleware, together with your SAP partner. Shopify handles the storefront, SAP keeps the master data.
Retail and fashion ERPs connected to Shopify, including our own Softtouch connector, live at several brands.
Products, prices, stock and orders in sync between Shopify and Odoo, through a proven connector.
Another ERP? We build the connector, from a direct API link to middleware, so your ERP stays in control.
How we work
Your customer groups, price logic, payment terms and order flow, mapped in one session.
What native Shopify covers, what an app covers and what needs custom work. You get a fixed scope before we build.
Store, data flows and connector set up and tested with real test orders flowing into your ERP.
Your team and sales reps trained, your first trade customers invited, then live.
B2B teams we build for
From chocolate to physiotherapy equipment to lab testing: different products, same goal. Trade customers order themselves, with the ERP in control.
Business Central · Shopify Plus
A login-only ordering platform for distributors, own stores, restaurants and franchises, each with their own catalogue and prices. Integrated with Business Central through Microsoft's standard connector, with a box composer instead of thousands of SKUs.
Business Central · Shopify Plus
A distributor platform on Shopify Plus that replaces their previous B2B platform. Business Central stays leading for products, customers, prices, stock and orders. We build the Shopify side together with their Business Central partner.
Microsoft Dynamics · Shopify Plus
An ordering platform for laboratory tests, connected to Microsoft Dynamics. Lab accounts with an approval flow, and test status tracking right in the customer account.
Questions we get on every B2B intake
Not always. Native B2B is available on Basic, Grow, Advanced and Plus, but which features you get depends on your plan. Plus gives you the full B2B toolkit, and some ERP connectors need it to sync B2B prices and catalogues. We check what your setup needs before you choose a plan.
Yes. Trade customers log in and see their own catalogue, prices and payment terms, while consumers see your regular shop. When your B2B assortment, team or process is very different, a separate B2B store is often cleaner. We advise on this during the intake.
Your ERP. Products, prices, customers and stock come from Business Central, Exact or SAP, and Shopify sends orders back. We agree every data flow up front: what syncs, in which direction and how often.
Yes, that is how it works best. We take care of Shopify and the store, your ERP partner takes care of the ERP side. One shared test plan and one go-live date.
Most ERPs have an API, a standard connector or a middleware option. We start from what already exists and only build custom where nothing fits. For Softtouch, for example, we built our own connector.
Yes. Reps log in on behalf of their customers and order at the right prices and terms, also at trade fairs. Their orders follow the same flow into your ERP as online orders.
