The vitamin industry reinvented

Innovative products, inspiring branding, and a creative approach – all these describe Insentials, a health supplement company specializing in science-backed vitamins. However, one thing was missing: an enhanced online presence to better reflect the innovation and quality of their products. To address this, Insentials teamed up with Radikal to migrate to Shopify Plus, a robust platform capable of supporting their growth.

Throughout the process, we ensured their brand identity remained intact while integrating advanced features to enhance user experience. One notable addition was a face scan tool that offers personalized product recommendations, aligning perfectly with Insentials’ commitment to customized health solutions. This migration not only improved their online presence but also provided a more engaging and tailored shopping experience for their customers

Main challenges

Insentials needed assistance, particularly in integrating the sophisticated face scan technology essential for personalized product recommendations. Nonetheless, we have remained committed to continuously refining and advancing their online store to overcome these challenges and meet their evolving needs. Therefore, they chose to
partner up with Radikal for our proven expertise in delivering complex e commerce solutions within tight timelines, ensuring the new platform would support their growth and technological needs.

Email Marketing Implementation

We undertook the task of enhancing a client’s email marketing capabilities by leveraging Klaviyo's features. This involved introducing new email flows and advanced segmentation for personalized messaging, as well as integrating additional tools such as Reviews.io for customer feedback, Gorgias for customer support, Appstle for subscription management, Sufio for automated invoicing, VideoWise for shoppable video’s and Klaviyo for overall strategy. We focused on enriching the content with educational and nurturing material to build trust and add value.

As a result, performance metrics showed significant improvements: the click rate increased from 6.2% to 8.3%, and the placed order rate rose from 0.8% to 3.57%. This comprehensive approach successfully elevated the client’s email marketing performance, leading to higher engagement and increased sales.

The segmentation strategy included bi weekly content for engaged users and weekly promotional content with discount codes for unengaged users, resulting in higher open rates and better customer engagement through personalized email strategies.

Visual Elements

Visual elements such as infographics illustrate the increase in conversion rates, customer retention, and subscription growth, while charts and graphs display before and after scenarios of key performance metrics. Customer quotes are highlighted in visually appealing boxes, and before-and-after screenshots show comparisons of the website redesign and mobile optimization.

Thanks to the Videowise implementation, the visual appearance and engagement of the new website have significantly improved. Visitors are now greeted with high- quality, thought-leadership video content on the home page. These videos, narrated by the owner, Amandine, explain the science behind the brand, making the content both personal and convincing. The product detail page has also been improved by adding small video stories above the CTA button, similar to those on social media platforms. These stories include both in depth information about the product and lifestyle videos from influencers. All videos implemented on the website are shoppable, promoting higher conversions (9.81%) and engagement (11.11% on-site engagement).

Results

The implementation of the Shopify ecosystem effectively addressed Insentials’ challenges, resulting in a stable platform that significantly improved conversion rates and customer engagement. Key performance indicators showed the conversion rate increased from 2% to 4.2%, and subscriptions grew from 300 to over 1,500. Immediate benefits included an enhanced customer journey and a more engaging shopping experience, while long term benefits involved sustained higher conversion rates due to personalized recommendations from face scan data.
